PRAYING AS A COUPLE )::

Most couples, believe it or not do not pray together. I know one man who completely refuses to pray together with his lady. He says he prays by himself, but he won't pray together with his lady.

He says Praying with his lady makes him feel too uncomfortable, so he won't pray with her. He is not alone in this, very few couples actually take the time to pray together.

 

How much do you think you and your spouse could accomplish if you prayed together daily? What would happen to the amount of problems you face as a couple if you prayed together about them daily? What kind of adults will your children grow into if the two of you prayed together for them daily? Can you see why it is so important for a couple to pray together?

1.When you and your spouse hold hands and pray together, you are coming before God as a couple. It is not just you praying and it is not just your spouse praying, but the two of you praying together. You are united spiritually before God as a team. You are now operating on the level that God intended for couples to operate on. You are unified, joined together as one, partners together before God. Your prayer as a couple is sweet perfume to God.
2.Pray about your dating relationship. Give everything over to God. Let God know that you are asking His approval. Talk to God about the problems that arise. Thank Him for the opportunity to be in a relationship and the happy times you experience. You can also pray with your lover. It is a good way to help each other out with whatever stresses life brings. By praying together, you are experiencing God together.
3.Make sacrifices for each other. Be willing to serve one another. Put one another above yourselves. Find how to show love to each other. Use the love God has shown you and bring it to your lover.
4.Smile and know that God is with you. Enjoy the life that God has given the both of you. Whenever you get the chance, praise God for whatever He has poured into your life. Trust and know that God has your back. He wants what is best for the both of you.
5.One of the problems that couples have is pride. The result of this pride is the refusal to acknowledge any weaknesses, or needs, to one another. Therefore, when you pray together, you need to be honest and humble yourself before God. Allow your spouse to hear you confess your needs openly and let your spouse pray for those needs. You can't help but be drawn closer to God and closer to each other as a result.
6.Prayer develops and deepens your communication. Good communication is a fundamental key to real companionship and prayer is the hand that turns the key to open this door. If you pray individually and not together as a couple, you tend say things to the Lord that you would never say to each other in casual conversation. 

But when you learn to pray together as a couple, your spouse will hear you say those intimate things that previously only God heard. For example, when a woman hears her man praying earnestly about his situation at work, she may realize,

Wow, I had no idea this was such a difficult issue for him. The lady now knows how to better pray for her man.

1. Redefine your definition of rich – Change it from having luxuries to meeting your basic needs and a few wants.

2. Borrow and Share – Instead of renting a movie borrow from a friend and watch it at home.


3. Avoid the mall – If you go to the mall you are more likely to impulse buy. You can buy clothes in shops and heck out for where you can get discounts.

4. Buy with cards – Avoid using electronic money.

5. Find a better deal and save the difference – Switch too cheaper service providers and you will save a lot of cash.
6. Curb your consumerism – Buy only what you need.

7. Stay Healthy – People spend a lot of money in hospitals which can be avoided of one eat well and did a bit of exercise.

8. Prepare for a rainy day – Even when things are going well do not be too comfortable. Always be prepared for the worst so that when it happens you will be able to handle it.
9. Stop competing – Being rich does not amount to happiness since we compare ourselves with others. Quit the competition and live a life you can manage.
10. Don’t let greed and deceit get the best of you – Most people want to get wealthy using shortcuts without caring who they step on. This is the reason why most countries struggle with corruption and even inflation. Aspire to be wealthy but use the right means.

Am just tired of people comparing themselves to someone else eeeish , we  were all born unique  I believe that each and every one of us is unique in his or her own way.

I feel very disgusted when someone tries to compare me with someone  else. Gosh !!  I feel like telling  them on their faces SHUT UP HOLD YOUR HORSES AM EVE PERIOD . 

The worst mistake most of us do is when people compare us to other people and we agree and we go to an extent of  accepting that and even try to change our everything so that we can look like those people we were compare with.(mscheeeew friends  why compare yourselves to other people oops!!!)Just because you were told you don’t do stuff like that person.

No wonder even most of relationships are not even  working out reason some partners compare their spouses to other couple .Honey why don’t you dress like that couple,why don’t you cook like my mum , my siz my cousin why don’t you do like these , like that like so n so (aarrrrggggg agitated already).

The first place you were involved to that relationship c’mon good people is because you saw something special to that person and you went to  a step of asking her out and that why he/she is your spouse. .How comes now after few years your are comparing her/him to someone else.(STYLE UP)

Good  stuff are made up they don’t come up easily. You don’t like how your girl or your boy dresses. Buy her what you would wish  to see him wearing, you don’t like how she cooks dude cut that crap  take her to Cooking classes, Stop comparing your spouses to other people.

Think about it: You're like a tea bag, not worth much until you've been through some hot water. Go out on a limb, that's where the fruit is. Leave everyone a little better than you found them. Make a difference today my friend.

YOUR BORN TO MAKE IMPACT

I remember when were small kids  and you ask your mama where children came from they use to tell us that children were bought in a supermarket  or they were brought down by a plane (hehehe beautiful memories back then)

 

When we grew up we came to find out that We did not fall from the air plane as we were told neither were we  be bought in a supermarket , we came from somewhere. Yeah somewhere God created us, in our mothers wombs he formed and  consecrated us.

 I believe that We are not an accident on this planet . I don’t care that you were born as a result of Rape, your mother wanted to abort you while you were still a foetus  or that contraceptives  bounced and  as result you were born.

God always knew that at a certain time we were to be born and we were to became certain person in this life.God created us with  a purpose we  were to make impact in this life.

Don’t sit down and be a  spectator be a participant, be the change you wanna see in this life don’t complain about everything and as Most Kenyans we are used to a phrase “ tunaomba Serikali’’( we plead with government). Be fruitful

Dictionary  defines  fruitfulness as living a life that overflows with meaning. This includes making impact on others and the sensitivity about the needs of people around you.

 It talks to reaching balance in life. In my own world, I thought getting well educated and getting a good job would help me in making impact. To my surprise, after I got my education guess what? I am still feeling like I have  not achieved fruitfulness. !

So if you find yourself frustrated today about your life that is not yielding the right results. You are trying everything you have known diligently and it still does not produce the right results. 

You have come to the right place. This should help us discover our original master plan for your life. Instead of anything, pursue the one that created you (GOD ALMIGHTY)  and He will be found by you, and frustration starts, it is the beginning of a healing process that will then lead you to your rightful place.

I personally I know that  things aren’t that Good but don’t worry let us change our attitude towards life lets be positive , be that Employer that you have always admired lets  create jobs .

 A rich man was once asked tell us the secret of being rich? The rich man replied “ there is no secret of being rich we are have 24 hours and what make a difference between the rich and the poor is how thy both use  their time’’.

God is a merciful God. We may endure pain all night but joy comes every Morning. This means that God has given the rich, poor ,man woman and boy girl 24 hours every day.

This means that we can all come back to the drawing board every morning and whatever we didn’t achieve yesterday we can achieve it Today oooh Yes Today.

If you focus on this pursuit, you will find what you are looking for. Because He sometimes or even many times does not speak to us like He did to Moses, Abraham etc. you may find it harder to hear Him and see what He does. What I like with Him is that He is gentle, and never forces you to anything, but will continue to nudge until the right connections take place.

The wise King Solomon puts it even better that “trust in the Lord with all your heart and all your might, lean not upon your own understanding, in all your ways, acknowledge God and He will prosper your ways”.

 I know people can use this loosely, but in its essence it is about being a branch that knows that it cannot become fruitful if it is not attached to the tree. 

The significance of this is that the branch understands that the supply of all nutrients that get it to produce fruits, come from the tree upon which it is attached. That is where I am going. That is why people go a long way trying to be best in their field which they were never called for, and only to be frustrated afterwards, and as soon as that frustration starts, it is the beginning of a healing process that will then lead you to your rightful place.

This is one journey I know that it never leads to shame, but to fulfilment. Think about it, you have never seen a plant struggling to produce fruits when it is well connected and is well nourished.

Great yields of fruits are in well watered plants that are rooted and branches well linked to their trees. Similarly with humankind, we have a connection with the one who created all, and He desires like He created nature that we be connected to Him. That is the only way we can know to produce the right fruits.

Just know that that when you are down to nothing God is up to something
