Google has announced that they have
bought the music streaming service Songza for a fee rumoured to be $39million.
The search engine giant revealed the
news on its website saying it was "thrilled" to announce the pairing
with the three-year-old
app.
"We can't think of a better
company to join in our quest to provide the perfect soundtrack for everything
you do," the statement read.
"No immediate changes to Songza
are planned, other than making it faster, smarter and even more fun to
use."
Songza is described as a music
search engine and internet jukebox that creates playlists
according to the user's taste.
In a post on the Google Play
site the mulch-national corporation said it will "explore ways to bring
what you love about Songza to Google Play Music" over the coming months.
