President Kenyatta out-bidded at Nairobi trade Fair

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday opened the annual Nairobi International Trade Fair where he pledged to increase funding in the agricultural sector to better address the challenge of food security. 

The President lauded the efforts being made by farmers in the country and appealed for the adoption of new technologies in farming practices. 

 The Head of State also witnessed the traditional livestock auction although this year he did not purchase any bull, as he was edged out by one of the bidders for this Borana Bull weighing close to 700 kilograms. This year's Trade Fair has 450 local and foreign exhibitor
