His face is still a picture of innocence – two years after the explosion of publicity in which he was hailed as “Britain’s youngest dad” at the age of 13.
The 4ft 4ins schoolboy was reported to be the father after his girlfriend Chantelle Steadman, 15, gave birth to Maisie.
Nicola, 45,http://www.oasisofhopeblog.com/world- said of her famous son, now 15: “Alfie was and still is a virgin. And the good news is he wants to stay that way until he’s at least 18.”
She recalled: “Our lives were turned upside down. The world wondered why I could not have known my little lad was having sex and worse still, how could he have got a girl pregnant?”
Mum-of-four Nicola, who has split from Alfie’s dad Dennis, said: “Alfie truly believed he was a dad. I asked him repeatedly if he was sure about this. Was he certain he had lost his virginity and could be the father of a child?
“But he assured me he was and said he was going to be a really good dad. Alfie had made himself believe he was a dad.
“At the time Dennis told the media that he was surprised as he thought a boy of Alfie’s age wasn’t capable of conceiving.
