UHURU BEST PRESIDENT IN AFRICA,BARRACK OBAMA

US President Barrack Obama has described President Uhuru Kenyatta as one of the best performing Presidents in Africa‚ as he vows to visit Kenya before the end of his term in 2016. 

 

In a White House journal that was published last week‚ to take stock of the recent US – Africa Leaders Summit in Washington DC‚ the US President said he was overwhelmed to meet a youthful President who is converting Kenya to a world class economy. 

 

In the journal‚ which will be out in mid September‚ Obama said despite meeting more than 26 Presidents from Africa in August‚ Uhuru impressed him over how he tackled issues such as insecurity in the Horn of Africa‚ the South Sudan crisis‚ reviving Kenya’s economy and elephant poaching. 

 

“He came to the summit armed with the right people who struck multi –million business deal with the Americans. Kenya is one of the countries which signed most business deals with the US. We as the American congratulate the Kenya President for showing commitment of improving lives of Kenyans‚” Obama wrote in the journal.
