VIRTUOUS WOMAN

Every Last Saturday of every Month  I attend a ladies meeting in my local church these meeting give me hope, encouragements and they have taught me how to be submissive ooh did I say submissive Yes am inspiring to get married in the near future and these are the important ingredients I need now for my marriage to be successful mmhhh.

 Last  month preaching was like an eye opener in my  life. The preaching was all about a Virtuous woman.       

So who is a Virtuous woman?  we were all eagerly waiting  to hear who is this beautiful woman  whom even the bible mention so much in Proverbs 31. The preacher of the day was like Many women today have lost sight of what true beauty is. There seems to be an unspoken rule that women are not worth being seen in public unless they are dressed to the gills, with overdone make-up and flashy clothing.
 

 There are those who dress in high heels and bangle earrings to go grocery shopping, and others who squeeze themselves into jeans and form-fitting tops to join the parade at the local mall. Even older women seemed to have fallen prey to the idea that their beauty is wrapped up in how they look.

There is nothing wrong with a woman doing things to keep herself looking beautiful and well groomed. Frankly, God is not interested in the colour of lipstick she wears, not does he care how many times she colours her hair in a year. But whatever she does is to be done in moderation so that her focus does not  become imbalanced.       

             A virtuous woman from proverbs 31 is devoted to  God, her husband and her family, she is obedient,generous,good steward, submissive and the list is endless.

Did the bible mention submissive ? most of the ladies were like pastor are you serious how can a modern woman be submissive to her husband at this era?

Preacher of the day  insisted ladies be submissive to your husband nevertheless even if he is  penniless and you are earning millions  the bible states that he is the head of the family .

The problem comes in when a woman consider herself superior of her husband ladies remember “ submission is not a sign of inferiority but maturity” Only a mature ladies will know her place in the family.

Most men are marrying beauty they tend to forget that Beauty also corrupts with time, distorts with sickness, and disappears with age. Remember! A beautiful woman without character is like a gold jewel in a pig's nose

But a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised! Her husband and children will praise her for the great happiness, comfort, peace, help, and pleasure she brought them

They will honor her, for she fulfilled their lives with the wonderful blessings of tireless service, tender affection, selfless attention, devoted companionship, and diligent labour.

Her husband's life is full of joy, for his heart can safely trust in her (Pr 31:11). She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life (Pr 31:12). He knows she would never betray him; he never has to beg or coerce her for anything; he knows he and his children always get the best;

He is thrilled and proud to be seen with her in public; he knows he has the most affectionate and erotic woman ever; he knows she works earlier, harder, and later than he does; he rejoices at her creativity and frugality.

He is handsomely rewarded by her entrepreneurial ability and industry; her kindness is known by all; the beauty and warmth of their home provides the best in hospitality; and he is the envy of all other good men.

At the end of the preaching I could easily tell most of us didn’t like the sermon  but ladies its biblical that a lady should always obey their husbands and husband should play their role as the head of the family and love their wives nevertheless as Christ loves the church.
