Raila agrees to meet the man who caned him

Cord leader Raila Odinga has agreed to meet the man who caned him and Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya during a rally last month.

 This is after Lengo Mudzomba, 45, requested to meet Raila and share a meal, chat and ask the Cord leader to forgive him.
 
Last Thursday, through human rights group Haki Africa, Mudzomba asked to meet the Cord leader. Yesterday, Haki Africa confirmed that the former Prime Minister has agreed to Mudzomba’s request.

Haki Africa human rights and anti-torture officer Francis Auma said the meeting will be held soon in Mombasa.
