SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE AT GOVERNER ISAAC RUTO'S RESIDENCE

Police are investigating an incident in which two men in a black Subaru attempted to drive into Governor Isaac Ruto’s home in Bomet on Sunday.
 

Police say the men drove to the residence at 6.20pm and stopped the car a few metres from the gate.

 

When police officers guarding the residence approached them, they sped off towards the Kapwen area.

The officers fired shots as they pursued them, but the men got away.

Detectives have been given the car’s registration number to establish the owner of the car.
