APPLE TO TURN IPHONE 6 INTO 'SMART WALLETS'

Apple want you to replace your wallet with your iPhone 6 , with a 'smart wallet' system they're gearing up to launch alongside the phone this month.

The tech giant are reportedly working with Visa, MasterCard and American Express to develop an 'I Wallet' payment system, allowing users to pay for things with their phone.

Apple's system would allow users to link their iPhone with their credit card, using it to make purchases with a swipe of their device
Apple already allows users to make in-app purchases using their iTunes payment accounts, and the Passbook system has allowed users to make payments in some stores and cafes using barcodes.

Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhone 6 at a major launch event on September 9th.

The iPhone  6 is expected to feature a new super-fast WiFi chip and an improved Touch ID fingerprint sensor.

It will also feature Apple's  next generation A8 processor, which should give the smartphone  a huge performance boost, according to reports.
Apple's new device is also expected to have a vastly improved camera, with a 13-megapixel sensor provided by Sony  .

It's thought the 4.7" iPhone 6 will hit stores as soon as a week or two after it's unveiled in September. The widely expected 5.5" version could be released later either due to manufacturing delays or as a deliberate move to prevent competition between models.
