REPORTER QUITS HER JOB ON LIVE TV BY USING "F" WORD

Charlo Greene, a reporter for KTVA news in Anchorage, Alaska, quit her job by saying the f-word on air, claiming she’ll instead focus on legalization of marijuana in Alaska.

“I — the actual owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club — will be dedicating all of my energy for fighting for freedom and fairness, which begins with legalizing marijuana here in Alaska. And as for this job, well, not that I have a choice but… fuck it, I quit,” she said.

The station’s news director issued an apology to viewers on Facebook and Twitter, writing, “We sincerely apologize for the inappropriate language used by a KTVA reporter during her live presentation on the air tonight. The employee has been terminated.”

Greene’s information was removed from the KTVA site almost immediately.
The fact that Charlene Egbe, which is Charlo’s legal name, dropped the f-bomb on live TV is one thing, but that she admitted to being the owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club is a whole different issue in itself.
