HELB FUND TO DELAY

Are you a beneficiary of Higher Education Loans Board? Well, prepare for hard times ahead.

The board has announced there will be delay in disbursing the funds.
HELB posted in its official Facebook page that it is facing what it termed as cash flow challenges.

The positive part is that the board is working with the universities to allow registration of students using the tuition fee schedule prepared by HELB.

“We would like to inform the continuing students who opened in August that the Board is facing some cash flow challenges and thus causing delay in releasing of funds.
 However we are working with the universities to allow registration of students using the tuition fee payment schedule prepared by HELB. Kindly bear with us as we mitigate the situation.” reads the HELB post.
