Named after the leading technology company’s arch-enemy, Sam Sung always caught the eye of the others especially as he worked there when the two firms were in a series of disputes.
So since leaving, the 25-year-old has brought it upon himself to offer up his name card on eBay in aid of charity alongside a framed, autographed staff shirt and ID badge.
As a result, the thoughtful American has raised more than $80,200 for the Children’s Wish Foundation.
Based in the central store in Vancouver, Canada, he admitted the idea came when an old card fell out of a book.
“I had a great time working for Apple and would recommend it to anyone.
“I hope my old business card will go to another fellow Apple enthusiast with a sense of humour and the desire to help raise some money for a good cause.”
But Mr Sung has speculated that he thinks the bidder of his card may not be genuine, he is communicating with the site to determine if it is or not.
This comes after both Apple and Samsung announced they had settled all court battles regarding patents outside of America.
