face in food turned up in a Good Friday pancake.
A café manager in California spotted a Good
Friday miracle in that morning’s breakfast orders when a face that resembled
Jesus Christ turned up on a pancake. Manager Karen Hendrickson said she was “excited
and emotional” to see the face after praying to God to look after her
restaurant on the eve of Good Friday.
The discovery was brought to her
attention by one of her employees at the Cowgirl Cafe, in Norco, California,
who walked into her office with a camera-phone at the ready, saying that a
pancake had just been made to order with the face of Jesus on it.
Holy pancake “My first words to her before
seeing the picture was, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me’, because I thought she
was joking,” said Hendrickson. “But when she showed me the picture, I was
totally amazed,” Hendrickson adds. The holy pancake is only the latest in a
very long line of foodstuffs on which the face of Jesus has allegedly turned up.
